Dr. Helen Tandy has been a veterinarian for 18 years. She has worked for many years in small animal emergency and critical care medicine, and has also worked in equine practice (she was one of the resident veterinarians at Windfield Farms).
Helen has been certified in Veterinary Acupuncture by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society since 1996, and has worked as a teaching assistant at IVAS courses in Canada and England. Dr. Tandy successfully completed the first Canadian program in veterinary chiropractic in 2006 and is now a teaching assistant for this program, where she lectures on veterinary neurology and pharmacology. She is currently completing an MSc in veterinary neurology through the Ontario Veterinary College.
Dr. Tandy works at the Animal Emergency Clinic in Whitby, and offers veterinary acupuncture and chiropractic through her own practice, the Darlington Mobile Veterinary Service. She is available for veterinary chiropractic treatments at SuperDog Central by appointment.
