What is Rally-Obedience?  It’s a relatively new sport intended to establish a strong, positive relationship between dogs and their handlers. Much less formal than Competitive Obedience, Rally-O values attitude over precision, making it fun, fast-paced and mentally stimulating for both the dog and the handler.
 A Rally-O course uses directional signs to direct the dog and handler through a numbered sequence of stations within an allotted time. Going beyond basic heeling, dogs and handlers must work their way through over 40 obedience movements with the sits, turns and paces of traditional heeling.
Rally is designed so that dogs in all levels of training may participate. A beginners course could include heel, sits aided by the handler, turning paces, sit stay and elements of the recall. As the dogs gain skill, more difficult courses are designed testing you and your dog’s performance levels and confidence

Novice Rally

Duration: 6 weeks
Pricing: $180.00 + HST

Prerequisite: Basic Obedience

Competitive Rally

This is a CARO Advance and Excellent level class for dogs that can perform off-leash. Every week a different rally course will challenge dog and handler teams with advance/excellent stations including jumps,weave poles and tunnels. This class is great practice for upcoming trials. Plus it’s a really fun night out with your dog.

CKC Rally-O

Is your dog registered with the Canadian Kennel Club? If so, you would be eligible to enter the CKC Rally-O trials. This class will prepare you to successfully compete!

Duration: 6 weeks
